Eligibility Open to 2009 members of the SCGA who are residents of South Carolina. Both players must be at least 18 years of age as of June 3, 2009. Entries may be declined for those individuals who have not had reasonable activity on their club’s handicap roster as of the most recent update.
Entries Entries must be filed either on attached form or register online at www.scgolf.org. Entries must be received by 5:00 p.m. on May 13, 2009. Field will be limited to 72 teams. Priorities are as follows: (1) Exact teams that participated in 2008 event (expires April 24). (2) Teams that did not participate in 2008 with lowest combined handicap indexes and earliest date of entry. Changes in partners after acceptance of entry may result in loss of priority. Acceptance will be posted online at www.scgolf.org by May 14. $10.00 from each player’s entry fee will be entered as a tax-deductible donation to the SC Junior Golf Foundation as approved by the SCGA Executive Board.
Format USGA rules apply, 36-hole four ball stroke play qualifier for 18 hole match play. 32 Teams will play for the Title.
Schedule Upon notification of acceptance, each team will be entitled to 1 practice round. Call the Golf Shop to make arrangements at 864-294-9090. Times available June 2nd and earlier based on space available. Reservations Required.

Carts Players are required to rent carts from The Furman Golf Club prior to each Stroke Play round and the First round of Match Play at $20.00 per player, range balls included. *The SCGA pays cart fees for all other match play rounds*
Lodging The Hampton Inn in Travelers Rest (864-834-5550) has a rate of $94.00 per night. Call ASAP and ask for the South Carolina Golf Association Rate. Restrictions Players are required to adhere to the dress code of the facility and conduct themselves in the manner of keeping with the highest standards of the SCGA. Players refusing to comply, will be disqualified from the competition. Please be aware – No outside coolers are allowed at The Furman Golf Club
