Eligibility Open to 2009 members of the SCGA who are residents of South Carolina. Both players must be at least 18 years of age as of June 20, 2009. Entries may be returned to those teams that have not had reasonable activity on their club’s handicap roster as of the most recent update.
Entries Entries must be filed either on attached form or register online at www.scgolf.org. Entries must be received by 5:00 p.m. on June 3, 2009. Field will be limited to 80 teams. Priorities are as follows: (1) Exact teams that participated in 2008 event (expires May 15). (2) Teams that left-hander participated in 2008 and are competing in both events (expires May 15). 3) Teams that did not participate in 2008 with lowest combined handicap indexes and earliest date of entry. Changes in partners after acceptance of entry may result in loss of priority. Acceptance will be posted online at www.scgolf.org by June 4. $10.00 from each player’s entry fee will be entered as a tax-deductible donation to the SC Junior Golf Foundation as approved by the SCGA Executive Board.
Format USGA rules apply. Left Handers Championship will be 36-hole stroke play. Lefty-Righty Championship will be a 36-hole four-ball stroke play. Awards will be for gross only, 36-hole total. Flights will be established based on first round scores.

Carts Players are required to rent carts from Lake Marion Golf Club for $36.00 per player for the 2 days, range balls included.
Lodging The Lake Marion Golf Villas are offering a special rate for tournament participants. Call (800) 344-6534 and ask for the South Carolina Golf Association Rate. Restrictions Players are required to adhere to the dress code of the facility and conduct themselves in the manner of keeping with the highest standards of the SCGA. Players refusing to comply, will be disqualified from the competition. Plastic, non-traditional spikes will be required for this event.
