Eligibility
Open to 2010 male members of the SCGA who are over the age of 40* as of February 15, 2010.  Participants must have a current SCGA handicap index not exceeding 15.2.  Received applications may be returned to those individuals that have not had reasonable activity on their club’s handicap roster as of the most recent update.

Entries
Entries must be filed either on attached form or register online at www.scgolf.org.  Entries must be received by 5:00 p.m. on February 3, 2010. Field will be limited to 80 individuals *.  Acceptance will be based on date of entry and will be posted online at www.scgolf.org by February 4.

* 20% of the total field will be reserved for players over the age of 55

Format
USGA rules apply, 18-hole Individual stroke play.  Based on a full field, gift certificates will be awarded in gross and net divisions.  The emphasis will be toward the gross awards.

February 7 – 14          Practice Round - On a space available basis - Make arrangements through the
                                  Colleton River Golf Shop (843) 837-3131 – Guest fee rate of $115 includes cart.
February 15               10:00 Shotgun Start - Lunch will be provided following play at the Clubhouse

Pairings will be available February 9 from the SCGA Web Site: www.scgolf.org

Carts
Players are required to ride in carts.  Cart fee is included with the entry fee

Lodging
The Fairfield Inn by Marriott in Bluffton has given us a special rate of $69.00 per night plus tax.  
Please call 843-705-2300 ASAP and ask for the South Carolina Golf Association Rate.    
   
Restrictions
Players are required to adhere to the dress code of the facility and conduct themselves in the manner of keeping with the highest standards of the SCGA.  Players refusing to comply will be disqualified from the competition.  Plastic, non-traditional spikes will be required for this event.
